Our 63rd meeting was conducted on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, and began at 7pm. This was a ZOOM meeting, attended by Steve M., Tom, Tram, Kirk, Rich, Barry, Jane (and granddaughter?), Maurie, Elaine, Steve S., and Linda. Notes from this meeting:We started the meeting talking about all things Sherlockian, including some of the up and coming events, as well as some of the on-going events. We agree that for details, all one has to do is visit "The Stranger's Room" on Facebook Next, it was show and tell, and Tram started with a brief review of "From Holmes to Sherlock", which was well received. Next, Kirk showed us a fantastic record album set of Rathbone/Bruce shows, and it was still sealed in the original wrapping. Then, Steve S. shared his screen and showed us a short video of English countryside that was thought to have inspired ACD to write Hound of the Baskerville. Very interesting! Finally, both Maurie and Steve M. shared their experiences about writing SH plays back in middle school. Talent abounds! Just before we turned the meeting over to Kirk to present tonight's story, Tom moderated the solving of the mystery that was assigned this week. Not to difficult, but had a twist! Kirk read his summary of the assigned story, which was THE ADVENTURE OF THE BLANCHED SOLDIER, then led us in an interesting discussion, which lasted over 30 minutes! I venture to say that a good time was had by all who attended!
