Our 36th Meeting!

Our 36th meeting was conducted on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, and began at 7pm. Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, this meeting was ONLINE, using the ZOOM Videoconferencing Service. Attending was Ed, Tom, Bill, Beth, Candace, Chuck, Michelle, Pat, Barry, and Barb.

Notes from this meeting:

Once again, a very successful ZOOM meeting.  Here are the highlights:

• Michelle read a quote (I forgot to make a note about your quote, Michelle - please for give me!)
  
• Candace brought us a character description from the story entitled "The Boscombe Valley Mystery"
• Barry brought us a fun fact about the connections between Houdini and Arthur Conan Doyle
• Ed displayed a couple of books for show and tell 
• The mystery to solve this month was "Sink or Swim", and everyone contributed to the solution.
• Bill led us in a discussion of the story entitled "Black Peter", complete with a visual aid!  Well done, Bill.

Plans for the July Meeting:

July's meeting will take place on July 21, 2020 at 7pm.  We all decided that we would stick with ZOOM for the time being, rather than risk exposure to Covid-19.  Click on the button below to connect to the ZOOM meeting.  If prompted for a password, enter 12345.
