Our 45th Meeting!

Our 45th meeting was conducted on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, and began at 7pm. Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, we continue to meet ONLINE, using the ZOOM Videoconferencing Service. Attending was Barb, Rick, Tom, Bill, Beth, Candace, Carol, Barry, Linda, Marc, Michele, and Pat.

Notes from this meeting:

We started the meeting with some fun facts brought to the club by Bill, followed by solving the mystery presented by Tom.  Next, six Society members presented a play by Arthur Conan Doyle entitled "The Crown Diamond: An Evening with Sherlock Holmes."  Rick read the part of Sherlock Holmes, and Linda read the part of Watson.  The part of Billy was read by Barb, Moran was read by Ed, and Barry read the dialog for Merton the Boxer.  Our narrator for the play was Carol.  The play went extremely well, and if you don't believe me, then you can listen to it yourself.  Here is the audio-only version of the play:

Plans for the April meeting:

​Next month's meeting is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 20, 2020, at 7pm.  This will be an "IN PERSON" meeting at Beach PC Computer Repair Shop, located at 5905 Carolina Beach Road, Suite 7, Wilmington, NC.  The meeting will also be on ZOOM.
