Our 38th Meeting!

Our 38th meeting was conducted on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, and began at 7pm. Because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, this meeting was ONLINE, using the ZOOM Videoconferencing Service. Attending was Bill, Tom, Barry, Pat, Rick, Michelle, Barb, Candace, Carol, Linda, and Ed. 

Notes from this meeting:

I feel like we are all getting used to using ZOOM to conduct our meetings.  While they were a little "choppy" at first, everyone seems to have settled in and are enjoying them as much as meeting in person.  Who knows... we may never go back to "Live"!

Everyone seemed very delighted that Carol joined us this evening.  She is a friend of Linda's, and seemed to enjoy our little group. I hope she joins us again!

Before beginning the meeting, we sang happy birthday to Michelle! She and Pat were over celebrating with Rick and Barb, and they joined the meeting as a group of four.  

Plans for the September meeting:

September's meeting will take place on September 22, 2020 at 7pm, and we will continue using ZOOM.  Here are the assignments for that meeting:

• Michelle has agreed to bring us a quote to identify
• Barry will provide us with a character description
• Linda will bring us a fun fact to enjoy
• Ed promised to deliver a show and tell item
• Tom will moderate the Q&A to help solve the mystery shown below
• Bill will lead us in a discussion of the "The Adventure of the Golden Pince-Nez"
