A new beginning for me...

Well, the time has come for me to escape the solitude of my situation, and venture forth into the modern world, where everyone thinks about Sherlock Holmes, and nobody really cares about me. Oh, well, I guess that's my lot in life.  To be the reporter, rather than the object of the report! 

Actually, that role always suited me very nicely. It's always been that way, and I guess you could say I am used to it by now. Of course, the one main difference is that Holmes is not around anymore to enlist me in his adventures. Where is he, you ask? Well, I will ultimately get to that, but for now, I think I will copy my old friend's habits and make you wait a while to find out.

So I guess you are wondering what it is I am doing writing this blog now. It's simple, really. In my old age, I yearn for the days of my youth, the fun days, the exciting days, and, yes, the terrifying days of those wonderful, electrifying, sometimes boring, fearful, haunting, and even occasionally hurtful times spent at 221B Baker Street. Alas, those days are gone forever.

So instead, I have decided to relive those days using this blog. It will be my new new escape from reality.

Hopefully, this blog will be my new reason for living. So that's it. Stay tuned for new blog entries to come, dealing with the memories of past adventures. I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy reliving them.
