Over the past year or so, our meetings have evolved to include four basic parts, as described below:
  • The story quote:  Five members (Candace, Barbara, Rick, Bill, and Michelle) were able to successfully guess that the quote came from the story entitled "A case of Identity". Well done!
  • The character identification: Candace gave us clues about a female who appeared in one of the more popular Sherlock Holmes stories, and pretty much no one was able to guess her identity!
  • The puzzle/mystery: The may mystery was entitled "Bye Bye Bertie", and credit goes to Michelle for solving it. Way to go, Michelle!
  • The story discussion: Bill did a masterful job at leading a discussion on the story entitled "The Priory School".  he even went so far as to bring a poster displaying the scene, which he created himself!  Well done, Bill!

Preview of the June meeting...

  • Here is the quote to be identified at the upcoming June meeting:
“My dear doctor, this is a time for observation, not for talk. We are spies in an enemy’s country. We know something of Saxe-Coburg Square. Let us now explore the parts which lie behind it.”
  • The story to be discussed is "The Noble Bachelor", and will be presented by Rick.
  • The mystery to solve is displayed below:
